GRANT-A-WISH PROGRAM PDF Print E-mail

The Pet Rescue Center is working hard toward raising a grant giving arm that will work with Orange County veterinarians to save pets with a treatable condition, but the owners don't have the finances to afford the lifesaving care. We hope to donate up to a $4000 limit, on a case by case basis, to the required veterinary care.

To do this we have negotiated a rate reduction by the participating veterinarians, and each case will be reviewed for needs of the family and the life saving treatment for the pet.

This grant is given to save the life of an otherwise healthy dog or cat, to allow the treatment to be administered by the chosen veterinarian of the family to ensure their pet lives out their life with that loving family.

Please help us raise funds to help the Atherton Family Dog - "DOT"!

A 7 mo old Boxer, Dot, fractured her femur while playing in her owner’s backyard.  The Atherton's daughter, Jordan, has battled Brain & Spinal Cancer for over 6 years.  The financial hardships they have endured have caused this family to make some pretty emotional decisions no family should have to make.  Please help us support this family, Dots surgery and recovery by donating to The PRC's Grant A Wish Program!  Dots overall surgical, medical and recovery cost will be $4000-5000.
